MPH Mayhem
It was a bit of a wash out for many car shows this summer perhaps because there is so much choice of the same thing or even because although petrol is going down in price, it is still like gold dust to us motorists. One show that is worth the juice though is MPH which has a live action arena where you can see all your fantasy cars in action as well as the Top Gear team making bafoons of themselves.
Ironically though, if you catch the show in Earls Court you’ve got congestion charging and expensive parking meters to contend with. It may be cheaper to hop on the motorway and drive to Birmingham NEC a couple of weeks later where you’ll see the same collection of rare cars such as the Koenigsegg CCXR Edition which has been given the green light for 2008. In previous years there has also been exploits like trapezius acts and motorcycle stunts, caravan explosions and dancing robots.
