Tomorrow the Grimaldi Forum exhibition center will open its doors to reveal some of the rarest and most exotic cars in the world. Guests will also be allowed to drive some of these supercars on a cordoned off section of Monaco`s road. Running for a nineth year, Top Marques is one of the most popular events in the principality after the Formula One Grand Prix which comes to Monte Carlo in May. A joint venture by BMW-owned brands, Mini and Rolls Royce has spawned this very well-to-do `Inspired By Goodwood` limited edition. The little city car was launched recently at the Shanghai Auto Show for the posh crowds with new money. It will be built in Oxford, England and cost £30,000 to UK buyers who can place their orders now. Mini are expecting Harrods shoppers to be potential buyers and so it currently takes pride of place in the shop window. |

Brits Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton had to settle for second and third place, respectively, as Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg hurtled full throttle towards his first Grand Prix win in China. The 26 year-old German had started in pole position following a cracking qualifying session. Although admitting he still wasn`t at one with the car yet, Rosberg pushed hard to keep the pace up and also to keep the team optimistic for the next GP in Bahrain. |

Custom Corner Germany has recently unleashed this planet friendly supercar which runs on a combination of LPG and E85 bioethanol and weighs just 1043 kilos. Its 6.0 Liter V8 Corvette-sourced engine produces 450hp and can accelerate to 62 mph from zilch in 3.2 seconds and top 193mph. CCG also promise a 570hp version to follow shortly. |
