This weekend marks the start of Jann Mardenborough`s professional racing driving career. Who? I hear you holler! Just a year ago the 20 year-old Brit was dossing around (we mean having a gap year) when he discovered the chance to enter the Nissan PlayStation GT Academy. Fast forward twelve months and he`s about to go head to head with nine-time world motorcyle champion, Valentino Rossi who will be driving a Ferrari 458 in the opening round of the Blancpain Endurance Series at Monza.

This video shows the ludicrous nature of an SUV that leaves the line faster than a Ferrari 458 Italia and uses its abundance of torque and grip together with its 650bhp P-P Performance Stage Two tuned engine to shift its 2.4 tonne mass over the mile course at a top speed of 164mph. We then see the P-P Performance model against an Evotech Stage 3 and then an Audi RS6 with the Evotech Stage 3 battling it out against the P-P Performance Bimma. |

The German Manufacturer has recently encountered a costly problem which has led to 1.3 million 5-series and 6-series models needing repairs. The models which have been sold worldwide between 2003 and 2010 may have an electrical problem whereby the battery cable cover inside the boot has not been correctly installed. Volkswagen were rather chuffed to beat 33 other nominees to win 2012 World Car of the Year. The annual award which has been running for nine years had 66 international automotive journalists on its panel. The jurors rated each car according to its merit, value, safety, environmental impact, significance, and emotional appeal. The majority of the jurors put the little city car at the top of the pack above the BMW 3-Series and Porsche 911.

Based on the Ferrari 458 Italia, it has various styling tweaks from retro Ferraris like the 512 Boxer as well as headlights from the Enzo.
