Audi wants to instill conidence in its buyers by proving it has plenty of cash to splash on the latest technology. In the next four years it will inject 13 billion euros into the company which is the largest investment in the company`s history.
To keep at the cutting edge of lightweight design and hybrid drivetrains it will set aside 2 billion euros each year between 2012 and 2016 for product development. Audi has also announced that it will employ 1200 new staff next year and its German plants will also be expanded and new equipment purchased. The limited production A8 Hybrid and R8 e-tron will kick off their latest show of expertise as they make their way to showrooms next year. The new A3 and A6 allroad quattro vehicles will also go on sale in 2012.
