The 403 hp, 300 mph Fisker Karma is a likely contender for Infiniti`s new EMERG-E range-extender concept car and next month`s Geneva Motor Show is to be its testing ground. If the crowd are hot for the new motor then Infiniti may be persuaded to add it to its future range which includes the Audi A4/BMW 3-Series-sized G Series compact due out in 2013 and the Audi A3/BMW 1-Series-sized compact vehicle announced for 2015.
The Infiniti Essence Concept pictured here was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2009 and sported a 592 hp hybrid engine as well as a rear wheel drive set-up. The design is classically beautiful and inspired by the Japanese tradition of Kimono wearing women with hairpins. We are promised that the compact car which debuts in 2015 will also carry similiar design traits as the Essence Concept. We also hope to see next month`s premium performance concept building upon the style Infiniti has already tantalized us with.
