That`s coming on strong - Silk Way Rally Touareg

•On Sunday, September, 13th ends the international Off-Road-Rally of the Dakar-Series
„Silk Way Rally", which goes through Russia, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.
•This first time „Seidenstrassen-Rallye" is a race with difficult challenges and an international top line-up in Rally Dakar style.
•The VW-Motorsport team with their Race Touareg II dominate Rally „Silk Way" in an impressive fashion.
In honour of this Rally the international acting Audi / Volkswagen tuner Hofele-Design presents a body kit which converts the VW Touareg into the special edition „Silk Way Rally". This special edition aims at the markets in Russia and Asia which their special requirements for Off-Road demand. In China Hofele-Design has a network with more then 30 „Hofele" franchise-partners. China is the biggest single market for the company which is based near Stuttgart in Germany.

The special edition differs from the basic Touareg with new designed front and rear bumpers, a front ram and side steps, made of polished stainless steel. Integrated into the new front bumper are additional LED daytime running lights, cornering lights and an impressive front grill. Big trapezoidal tailpipes made of stainless steel are integrated into the rear apron. The special edition rolls on Hofele designer wheels „Reverso", in the size 9x20" or10x22". An electronically lowering module controls the air suspension and can raise or lower the car up to 80 mm. Also available is an engine optimisation which lowers the consumption of gasoline or Diesel and an increase of power, e.g. for the 4.2 l. V8 up to 380 HP.
