Lexus’s ambitions for the LF-A are clear: to build a supercar with world class performance that is uniquely Lexus. Since the first LF-A concept was unveiled in 2005, the project has made significant progress; most recently the car was on public view, competing in the Nürburgring 24 Hours race as part of its on-going development programme.

Mazda Kazamai Concept to Premiere at Moscow International Automobile Salon 2008
HIROSHIMA, Japan-Mazda will unveil a sporty, compact crossover concept vehicle, Mazda Kazamai, at the Moscow International Automobile Salon (MIAS) on August 26. Kazamai, which means “swirling crosswinds” in Japanese, expresses the powerful yet nimble image of a stylish and compact crossover.
This weekend (11th-13th July) Mitsubishi will be showing off two of its future models at the Festival Of Speed, in Goodwood. The first is the all-electric i-MEV Sport which uses three permanent magnetic synchronous motors to power the car, space frame technology to make the chassis light as well as strong and Super All Wheel Control (S-AWC) to give you the stability and handling you are used to with a Mitsubishi. The Japanese manufacturer has aimed to make it as green as possible to run and as well as being fume-free, it has regenerative braking, a photovoltaic generator on the roof and even heat absorbing glass to help power the air-con. The second is the concept cX which will showcase Mitsubishi’s 2009 Euro V compliant technologies which include a variable geometry (VG) turbocharger to generate optimum boost pressure for all engine loads, a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) and DOC (Diesel Oxidation Catalyst). The baby Outlander as it Been nick-named also carries over the has Twin Clutch SST technology.
100,000 visitors took part in a poll on www.WRC.com to establish who is or was the Greatest Driver ever to compete in the championship. Citroen’s four-time WRC champion, Sebastien Loeb won hands down with 34,772 votes. Colin McCrae was second favourite followed by Walter Rohrl and Tommi Makinen.
